We’d like to congratulate Dr. Judith Scarl on being selected as the new Rusty Blackbird Spring Migration Blitz Coordinator. Judith received an AB in psychology and biology from Harvard University in 2002, and she received her Ph.D. in behavioral biology from Cornell in 2008. She currently works as a Conservation Biologist with the Vermont Center for Ecostudies and will take on the role of the Rusty Blackbird Spring Migration Blitz Coordinator as part of her duties in that position.
The IRBWG thanks the U.S. Fish and Wildlife for funding the Blitz coordinator position and the Vermont Center for Ecostudies for supporting Judith’s involvement in this important initiative.
